Ace Attorney Holiday Exchange 2021

This is a fanwork exchange based on the Ace Attorney franchise. Writers will be asked to create a story of at least 1000 words based on one of the prompts they receive; artists will be asked to create one completed piece of art based on one of the prompts they receive. All participants will receive a story or artwork based on prompts that they submit in return. Stories and art will be anonymous when posted, and the authors will be revealed on a set day.

Want to take part? Here's what you need to do.

Step one: Acquire an AO3 account or log into the one you have.

Step two: Join the exchange.

Fill out the sign-up form (see step three), and you're in!

Step three: Create 3-5 prompts you would like to receive, and offer 2-5 sets of characters/pairings that you would enjoy creating works around.

These prompts and offers will be used to match everyone to one person who will create a work for you, and to find a person whose prompts seem like they would be fun for you to work with.

If you have a preference for fic or art, please feel free to state it in one of your prompt descriptions. Similarly, if you plan to do one or the other, let us know in an offer description.

Also feel free to make a list of things you absolutely DON'T want to show up in your fill. You may also include a list of things you don't want to have to write/draw in your offers; we'll do our best to accommodate accordingly.

Step four: Write a story or create artwork that fits at least one of the prompts you have been given.

Minimum requirements are at least 1000 words or one completed piece of art.

Step five: Post your work to the community.

Just after midnight on Christmas Eve (that is, around 12:05 on December 25) all fic and art will be revealed for people to enjoy. Artists and authors will be revealed one week later. Everyone has fun and it's good!
